Employment and Labor Market Analysis in Sudan

International Advisory, Products and Systems (i-APS) is currently working to conduct an Employment and Labor Market Analysis for Sudan. The project is funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH GIZ. The objective is to identify sectors and trades with significant business growth and employment potential for young women and men, including displaced persons and persons with disabilities, and to determine training needs among youth. Findings from the study will be used to guide current projects funded by GIZ in the areas of employment and country capacity building. Over the next few months, i-APS will be leading in-country activities focused on conducting over 2,000 surveys in the states of Khartoum, Gadarif, Kassala, North Darfur, South Darfur and West Darfur, as well as convening focus group discussions.
