From active conflict zones to hard-to-reach remote areas to assessing knoweldge, attitudes and practices in low-literacy settings, i-APS TPM teams are able to access locations our competitors are not to provide real-time verification of projects.

Because i-APS TPM field teams come from the communities where we work, our approach is driven by partnership to support both learning and accountability. By developing tools and data collection strategies that are context-sensitive, we seek to engage diverse stakeholders in our work. And by integrating TPM into overall organizational learning, we aim to support donor accountability while supporting our clients to deliver better humanitarian programming through institutional learning.

Gender relationships and roles and social vulnerability are cross-cutting issues. Almost no intervention is gender-neutral. In response, i-APS methods seek to ensure, through gender-sensitive M&E and TPM, that effective assessments are made of how far a project is achieving goals related to vulnerability reduction and improved distribution of benefits according to gender. Our data collection tools account for gender dimensions to provide feedback on how activities affect various groups of beneficiaries, in order to help identify the necessary adjustments to project activities. And as a woman-owned business, our field-teams are composed of at least 50% women, including at leadersehip levels.
