Melike is a senior social development researcher with over 20 years of experience in drafting research and policy papers, field research and monitoring, evaluation and learning on migration politics, refugees and gender equality. Being a graduate of International Relations and Sociology studies, she conducts research and manages projects with an inter disciplinary social sciences perspective. She conducted numerous field research activities in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey and France, while working in multi-party research projects in France and Turkey.

Melike worked in several international organizations, e.g. IOM, World Bank and ICMPD, as a consultant and local research partner. She specializes in migration policies, Syrian Crisis and gender equality by drafting research and policy papers. As program manager for evaluations, TPM and gender, she is responsible for quality assurance of all program outputs.
