
Sasha Veljanov
Sasha is an international development professional with over 22 years of experience in a variety of emergency and development contexts throughout the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. Sasha specializes in project process and content management, digital health, data research and management, development of monitoring and evaluation tools and processes as well as management quality/operations management.
He has worked over 16 years for Catholic Relief Services in program/operations management in Sri Lanka, India, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Turkey and Greece. In the last four years, Sasha worked as independent consultant for different clients such as CRS, Plan International UK, JSI Research & Training Institute, i-APS, Stop TB Partnership, WHO and CHAI.
Currently, based in Amman, Jordan, Sasha works for i-APS as Jordan Representative, undertaking TPM assignments for IBTCI (OFDA) in Yemen, assisting i-APS Turkey office in TPMs for OCHA, Mapping & Organizational Assessment for local NGOs in Syria as well as TPME for WHO Malaria Project in Yemen. By formal education, Sasha is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
