Silvia Savini

Senior Manager – Results Based Management and Monitoring and Evaluation expert

Silvia is a Senior Programme Manager and RBM/M&E specialist with over 15 years of international experience providing technical assistance mostly to UN agencies (WFP, UNFPA, UNODC, UNOCHA, UNICEF). Her services have also been extended to assist regional integration agencies and programmes such as the ASEAN Secretariat and European Commission, national Governments, I/NGOs, National Research Institutes and Universities. Silvia’s extensive field experience covers more than 20 countries in three continents (Asia, Africa, and Europe).

Throughout her professional career Silvia has participated in eight programme reviews and strategic plannings, designed, and implemented at least seven data collection exercises, three ex-post and two formative evaluations including one for the Humanitarian Strategic Response Plan for the Sahel region (2014-2016) that provided assistance to an estimated 20 million food insecure people and over 2.5 million internally displaced persons and refugees. Silvia also specialises in the design of M&E frameworks for multi-sector programmes of varying complexity and size. Silvia’s portfolio comprises the design and roll out of eight M&E frameworks including the overall Results Framework of the new and complex WFP Country Strategic Plan in Bangladesh which included the humanitarian response to the Rohingya crisis. Silvia has a Master’s in Social Sciences, specializing in demography and statistics of populations, from the Universities of Rene Descartes (Paris V) and the Sorbonne (Paris I). She is currently serving Senior Manager TPM/M&E at i-APS covering for UN programmes and EC projects.
