International Advisory, Products and Systems (i-APS) is currently working to evaluate the effects of Sudan’s triple crises (food, energy, and financial) under the leadership of UNDP, on food insecurity, migration-related factors, the poverty of locals, internally displaced people, and host communities, as well as the country’s SDG roadmap, . The goal is to contribute to the availability of reliable, timely, and usable data, including analysis and forecasts, of the impact of the triple crisis on Sudan’s most vulnerable people due to a shortage of data in the nation. Over the next month, i-APS will be leading in-country activities focused on conducting surveys on areas in Sudan that are affected by acute insecurity with a focus on North Darfur, River Nile (Kordofan), and Kassala states.
