STATUS: Completed
The i-APS team in Yemen will be conducting Third-Party Monitoring for the Famine Prevention and Food Security Program implemented by ACTED and funded by the Famine Relief Fund.
This program aims to provide life-saving support to almost 11,400 Yemeni households at risk of famine in Raymah, Dahman, Al Dhale’ and Ma’rib governorates.
Our monitoring teams will be collecting and reporting data from households having benefited from unconditional cash distribution from the program, service providers, humanitarian partners and other stakeholders involved and assess the extent to which the program’s support has helped alleviate the food security crises in the targeted governorates.
So far, the field research team has shown unparalleled readiness and dedication to work at any time. ACTED was amazed by our team’s availability, punctuality and willingness to reach any targeted location regardless of how far or hard-to-reach it was. For example, data collectors have had to sometimes walk for approximately 3 hours to reach certain destinations in Bani Saeed Center, Jahaf District, Al Dhale Governorate to interview beneficiaries.
