Melike is a change facilitator with over 20 years’ experience in Participatory Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning. She has extensive capacity development experience targeting multiple stakeholder groups including CSOs, Academia and Public and Private Sector Organisations. Melike worked in different regions of the globe (Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South-Eastern Europe) and had the opportunity to train mid-career professionals from South America to the Pacific Islands and from Russia to South Africa. She comfortably operates in different cultures, embracing their differences as well as their similarities. In her work, she always prioritises creating an enabling environment for dialogue and exchange between different parties. Melike undertook several assignments for UN bodies in Turkey e.g., FAO, UNDP and UNV, including assignments related to the Syrian Crisis by providing trainings to NGOs and UN Volunteers working with refugees. As senior manager, she supports the advancement of i-APS global policies and strategies and the expansion of i-APS work in Turkey specifically. She is responsible for quality assurance and coordinates the TPM assignments in Turkey. She also contributes in designing and developing i-APS’s latest software product on online learning for humanitarian and international development professionals.
