Samir is the Country Manager for i-APS in Sudan. He has extensive experience in the areas of food security and data analysis applying quantitative methods. Samir also has extensive experience applying practical knowledge and evidence-based data by developing learning products in the agricultural and livelihoods sector, including development of online/and in person training materials. Samir also worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Agricultural Studies at Sudan University of Science & Technology. He served as an economic and business advisor for several organizations in the private sector in Sudan. In terms of academic qualifications, Samir has an MSC and BSc in Agricultural Economics, and he is about to obtain his Ph.D. degree. With i-APS in Sudan and regionally, Samir is currently serving as a team leader and main coordinator for number of short and long term projects.
